XAU Chart

Given recent strength in gold prices the performance of the Philadelphia gold and silver stocks index is not that impressive. Other gold & silver mining indices haven't done much better.

The XAU: GOLD ratio continue to consolidate around recent lows.

Lets see what come next.

About

In this web log I post an occasional analysis of the technical condition of gold and silver stocks as reflected by Indices like XAU, HUI and sometimes also GDX, XGD and GOX. As of late I do not pay attention to specific stocks as it is not relevant for me as I don't trade them currently.

What do I trade?

I trade commodities and currencies as they are more suitable for my trading style.

Gold is both currency and commodity; you can look at it as monetary metal or a commodity (hard) currency.

It is very important for me to track the gold & silver miners so this web log helps with that mission.

How you can use this blog?

You can read my (over 100) posts for free and that might help you to study about technical analysis in general and specifically for the gold & silver sector.

Get my occasional market sentiment and confirm with yours!

Some posts include special reports, news pieces or videos which I think are worth sharing.

In addition I post in two other Web log commodities charts and Gold global perspective.
